PAMP Announces Headline Sponsorship of Two Teams Taking on the World's Toughest Row
We’re thrilled to announce that our product brand PAMP is the headline sponsor of two remarkable teams preparing to take on one of the world's toughest endurance events, the World's Toughest Row across the Atlantic Ocean.
This includes the sponsorship of the Scottish team Saltire Tides, alongside support for the Swiss team Mountain to Sea, set to compete in the 2027 edition of the race.
The Saltire Tides crew, Doctor Jenna Volpert and physiotherapists Ellen Clark and Lauren Wilde-Arnold are undertaking the challenge in December 2026 to raise vital funds for The Archie Foundation, supporting children and families across North Scotland.
The Swiss team Mountain to Sea, preparing for the 2027 World's Toughest Row, includes internationally renowned Swiss alpinist and PAMP brand ambassador Stephan Siegrist. The team is raising funds for the POLG Foundation while preparing to take on the same extraordinary Atlantic challenge.
The announcement coincides with the official launch of Saltire Tides' ocean rowing boat, with the presence of MKS PAMP’s CEO James Emmett. Saltire Tides’ boat proudly features PAMP's iconic Lady Fortuna design, a symbol of prosperity and good fortune that will accompany the crew throughout their 3,000-mile journey from La Gomera to Antigua.
For MKS PAMP, these partnerships reflect more than sponsorship. Both teams embody qualities that resonate strongly with our values: resilience, precision, preparation, teamwork and the pursuit of excellence. Their journeys also demonstrate how exceptional sporting achievements can inspire positive social impact.
James Emmett, CEO of MKS PAMP, said:
"Whether producing world-class precious metals products or taking on one of the toughest endurance events on the planet, success depends on technical excellence, careful preparation, durability and precision. We are delighted to support Saltire Tides, while also backing Swiss Mountain to Sea in 2027. Together these partnerships demonstrate our commitment to championing exceptional people pursuing extraordinary goals, while creating a positive impact for the communities and charities they support."
As the teams continue their preparations, we look forward to following their progress and celebrating their achievements on and beyond the Atlantic.
